High Profile Police Brutality Lawsuit, Handled By the Piccuta Law Group, In the News Again

On September 12, 2016, the Fresno Bee Newspaper published its fourth story about a police brutality lawsuit handled by the Piccuta Law Group. The lawsuit is pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and is entitled Macias v. City of Clovis, Et Al. The Piccuta Law Group represents the Plaintiff George Macias and alleged in the lawsuit that Macias was savagely beaten by four City of Clovis police officers for no reason.

The highly publicized lawsuit has been closely followed by Central California media outlets as it called into question the officers working for the City of Clovis. The Piccuta Law Group succeeded in uncovering Internal Affairs investigations of one of the main officers which revealed that he was terminated for falsifying police reports and lying to superiors.
