Arizona Practice Remains Strong As Firm Handles Three New Motor Vehicle Accident Cases in Maricopa County
The Piccuta Law Group continues to have a strong presence in Arizona and Maricopa County. In the last 30 days, the firm has agreed to handle three new motor vehicle accident cases in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Currently, about 25% of the firm’s total cases come from Arizona. Principal attorney, Charles “Tony” Piccuta, is licensed in Arizona, California, Nevada and Illinois and manages the firm’s Arizona cases.
Tony formerly handled the Arizona practice of Houser and Allison, APC. Houser and Allison, APC has over 65 attorneys nation-wide and Tony managed its Arizona office before leaving to start the Piccuta Law Group. While working for Houser and Allison, APC, Tony regularly handled complex civil litigation matters in both Federal and State courts throughout Arizona. Tony has handled cases throughout Arizona including the following counties: Apache, Coconino, La Paz, Pima, Pinal, Maricopa, Mohave, Santa Cruz, Yavapai and Yuma.
For the last seven years, Tony has split time between Arizona and California. Currently, Tony resides in both Pebble Beach, California and Scottsdale, Arizona. When asked about the firm’s Arizona practice, Tony said: “It was important to me that the firm service clients in both California and Arizona. Over the past seven years, I have fallen in love with Arizona and developed significant contacts and relationships there. I wanted to make sure that our firm was available to help our Arizona friends and acquaintances in need of legal services.”
Last year, Tony litigated and settled a six-figure Maricopa County motor vehicle accident case. In discussing that case, Tony stated “I was especially proud of that result. The client was a family friend and had signed up with a well-known, high-volume, personal injury, mill firm. The attorneys there did not file a lawsuit and told the client that they should settle the case for $29,000.00. I took the case over, filed a lawsuit and ended up settling the case for 4 times that amount.”
