Attorney Charles “Tony” Piccuta Attains Membership with American Association of Justice
On April 5, 2018, attorney Charles “Tony” Piccuta of the Piccuta Law Group was granted membership to the American Association of Justice. Piccuta underwent a vetting process that required him to establish that he is an attorney that advocates for the rights of the injured parties and who does not represent the interests of big corporations and insurance companies. The American Association of Justice was previously named the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. It is one of the preeminent organizations that supports lawyers that represent plaintiffs across the United States.
The group has a strong presence in Washington D.C. where it regularly opposes interests of big business and the insurance industry. The group fights legislation offered by these forces including efforts to deregulate safety laws and to advance tort reform. The group provides programs and resources that help its members represent the rights of the “little guy” against corporate America.
Piccuta belongs to several organizations that advocate for the rights of plaintiffs and other victims of wrong doing. In addition, to the American Association of Justice, Piccuta is a contributing member to the Consumer Attorneys of California, National Police Accountability Project and the Arizona Association for Justice.
