Piccuta Law Group Attorney Charles Tony Piccuta Competes In Super Spartan Race

On February 25, 2017, Piccuta Law Group attorney Charles Tony Piccuta completed a Super Spartan Race in the arid desert setting of the McDowell Mountains in Arizona. The race consisted of over 24 grueling obstacles and spanned a distance longer than 8 miles. The obstacles included physical challenges such as army crawling more than 100 feet under barbwire, traversing fifty foot high cargo nets, carrying objects weighing over 50 pounds through meandering creek beds and hurdling over burning logs. Not to mention, miles and miles of running up and down hills and mountains and around cactuses and brush.

This is the fifth Spartan Race that Piccuta has competed in since 2013. Piccuta completed the race with a team of six other racers some who had traveled from as far away as Omaha, Nebraska to race. Piccuta believes that competing in races and other physical challenges is important to being a successful trial lawyer. Piccuta offered this about the race “The competitive nature of the races translates well to what I do for a living. If you are not willing to compete and fight hard, you are in the wrong profession. Everything about trial work is competitive and adversarial.”
