Piccuta Law Group Obtains Jury Verdict in Orange County Injury Lawsuit

On April 9th, 2015, the Piccuta Law Group, LLP obtained a jury verdict on behalf of its injured client. Charles Tony Piccuta teamed up with Orange County attorney, Eric Traut, to represent its client who was injured in a motor vehicle accident. The defendant was insured and defended by Mercury insurance and the trial was hotly contested over the course of two weeks. Both sides presented multiple experts who provide testimony regarding the forces generated in the accident, the likelihood of injury, the need for future surgery and the reasonableness of past medical treatment.

After less than two hours of deliberations, the jury returned a unanimous verdict holding that the negligence of defendant caused injury to the firm’s client. The jury awarded monetary amounts for both the client’s past medical expenses and pain and suffering.
