Piccuta Law Group Obtains Plaintiff’s Verdict In Santa Barbara County Jury Trial

Last week, the Piccuta Law Group successfully obtained a Plaintiff’s verdict in a Santa Barbara County jury trial. The case involved a high speed car accident resulting in injuries to the Plaintiff. The parties disagreed on the amount that Plaintiff was entitled to and the extent of his injuries. Rather than have the insurance company determine what would be fair compensation, the Piccuta Law Group decided to present the case to a jury for a decision.

The trial lasted three days and the jury deliberated for less than two hours before unanimously finding in favor of Plaintiff. The jury found that the acts of the Defendant were a substantial factor in causing the Plaintiff harm. The jury awarded all medical expenses claimed by Plaintiff and also awarded nearly double that amount to compensate Plaintiff for his pain and suffering.
