Piccuta Law Group Starts Jury Trial in Orange County Car Accident Case

On April 1st, 2015, the Piccuta Law Group, LLP started a jury trial in Orange County, California representing the plaintiff who was a victim of a car accident. Charles Tony Piccuta teamed up with Eric Traut of the Orange County based law firm, the Traut Firm, for purposes of trial. The subject of the case is a motor vehicle accident that caused damages and injury to the client. The client’s injury involves an annual tear at the L5-S1 disc level, a disc protrusion, facet issues and a collapsed disc.

The Piccuta Law Group, LLP argued that the client’s condition is due to the forces caused by the accident. The defending driver argued that the client’s condition was a degenerative condition and unrelated to the accident. The client accrued over $35,000.00 in paid/owed medical expenses for treatments in the three years following the accident. The client is scheduled for a L5-S1 fusion surgery at a cost of over $125,000.00. The Piccuta Law Group, LLP seeks to recover a fair amount to compensate the client for his past medical expenses, future medical expenses and pain and suffering. During the first week of trial, the Piccuta Law Group, LLP plans on presenting its client’s case in chief consisting of the testimony of the client, his fiancé, his treating pain management doctor, a bio-mechanic expert witness and  orthopedic surgeon expert witness.
